Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Benzy Security Bot, Dashboard, and Website (“the Bot,” “the Dashboard,” “the Website,” “the Service,” “the Service,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By inviting or using the Service in your Discord server, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services, in accordance with Discord’s Terms of Service.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Services.
Use of the Services must also comply with all Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

2. Use of the Services
You may invite and use the Bot on your Discord server(s) provided you comply with these Terms.
You agree not to exploit, abuse, or misuse the Services, including but not limited to:
Attempting to disable, disrupt, or interfere with its functionality.
Using the Services for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes.
Attempting to reverse engineer, duplicate, or redistribute the Services without permission.
We reserve the right to add, remove, or modify features at any time.

3. User Data & Privacy
The Services may collect and store limited data necessary for their functionality (e.g., server IDs, user IDs, moderation logs).
No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected beyond what Discord provides via its API.
We will not sell or share your data with third parties.
By using the Services, you consent to the collection and handling of such data solely for operational purposes.

4. Moderation & Enforcement
Server administrators are solely responsible for configuring and managing the Services within their server.
The Bot may perform automated moderation actions (e.g., kicks, bans, message deletions) based on configured rules.
We are not responsible for any misuse of the Services by server administrators or members.

5. Availability & Service Changes
We make no guarantees of uptime or uninterrupted service.
We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the Services without notice.
Updates, bug fixes, or maintenance may occur at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind.
It is not guaranteed that the Services will be able to protect you under all circumstances. New methods of hacking and exploitation may emerge, and we cannot guarantee immediate protection against such threats.
The Services are a tool to assist in moderation and security but do not replace the need for active management and vigilance.
We are not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the use or inability to use the Services.
Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

7. Termination
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms.
You may remove the Bot from your server at any time to discontinue use of all Services.

8. Changes to Terms
We may update or revise these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
